The RX-78-1 Prototype Gundam is an Earth Federation Space Forces mobile suit that is almost the same visually as the RX-78-2 Gundam. The 78-1 uses a grey, black, and red color scheme instead of the 78-2's parade colors. Not to be confused with the RX-78-2 Real Color type.
