pronghorn

A species of artiodactyl mammal (like the deer) found in western and central North America. It is known as the second fastest land mammal in the world (or the fastest in the Western Hemisphere). Although slower than the African cheetah at top speed, it can sustain the high speeds much longer than cheetahs.
