ppd-40
Russian: Пистоле́т-пулемёт Дегтярёва (Degtyaryov's machine pistol)
PPD-40 is a Soviet submachine gun chambered in 7.62×25mm Tokarev, originally designed in 1934 by Vasily Degtyaryov. It had a conventional wooden stock without pistol grip, open bolt mechanism, and selective fire. It was replaced by the lower-cost PPSh-41. The later PPD models can utilize a 71-round drum magazine.
