paella
Paella (pah-AY-ya) is a rice dish originally from the Valencian Community in Spain. It consists of rice and saffron with a choice of meat, mainly chicken and/or seafood cooked and served in a large shallow pan. It is one of the best-known dishes in Spanish cuisine.
