pacific rim: uprising
Pacific Rim: Uprising is an American science fiction and mecha monster film directed by Steven S. DeKnight and written by DeKnight, Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder, and T.S. Nowlin from a story by Guillermo del Toro, who is also producing (but not directing this time around) the new film.
It is the direct sequel to the 2013 popular sci-fi film Pacific Rim and is set 10 years after the original.
The film stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny and Jing Tian, with Kikuchi Rinko, Charlie Day, and Burn Gorman returning in their roles from the original film.
It was released during march 2018 in most countries by Universal Pictures and premiered in Japan on April 13, 2018.
