Upgrades found in various shoot-'em-ups that take the form of orbiting followers, such as miniature ships. Made a genre trope with Gradius, where the term "options" came from. Also sometimes referred to as "multiples".

For multiple choice questions that appear on a game screen, use the choice tag. If presented with a choice of dialogue, use dialogue options.
