Sighting device on weapons that use optics with aligned aiming point or pattern (such as reticle or red dot) superimposed onto the target image. Some firearm designs such as the Steyr AUG and G36 feature an integrated optical sight.
For telescopic scopes that appear larger, longer with more magnification power for sniper rifles or DMRs, use scope instead.
