ofrenda

An ofrenda is the offering placed on an altar during Dia de Muertos. This typically includes candles, cempoalxochitl, calavera, religious icons, food and drink, personal photos and belongings.

May also include decorative papel picado, or depictions of La Catrina / El Catrin.
