A series of virtual reality headsets manufactured by Reality Labs, formerly Oculus VR. Reality Labs was acquired by Facebook in 2014 for 2 billion dollars. The product lineup includes the Oculus Rift series, thhe Oculus Go, and Oculus Quest series. In 2022, following Facebook's rebranding as Meta, the name of the Quest lineup was changed to Meta Quest.
Early models of Oculus headsets are primarily identified by their simple design and flat front. Models from the Quest 2 and onwards feature a more rounded front. The Quest 3 feature three additional camera/sensor "pills" on the front for mixed reality use.
