naval working uniform
A naval uniform that is worn by during day to day work on a ship. At-sea uniforms are intended more for protection than for good looks: long pants and long sleeve shirts protect against sunburn and fire. The traditional sailor collar was another method to protect the neck and shoulder area, though more modern uniforms are made of fire-resistant materials to assist as well. Officer's uniforms are also distinctly different from those of the enlisted, usually wearing blue or khaki clothes, depending on the time period and nationality. As with naval dress uniform, at-sea uniforms of both officers and enlisted qualify for this tag.
