mod fashion
An "unconventionally modern" style of dress originating in England in the 1960s. Mod clothes leaned toward ultra-short and sleeveless, and usually had bright colors and patterns. Popular styles were miniskirts, jumpers, shift dresses, patent rain trenches, patent leather go-go boots, and pantyhose. A popular outfit was coordinating a ribbed knit turtleneck with a miniskirt with matching tights with knee boots.
