One of the main antagonists of One Piece, also called Blackbeard.
The captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, promoted to Shichibukai after the downfall of Crocodile, a title he merely used to break into Impel Down where he recruited a number of powerful level 6 prisoners.
Having consumed the Yami Yami no Mi Devil Fruit he can basically turn into a black hole and control gravity.
He somehow absorbed Whitebeard's shock-creating Gura Gura no Mi powers after his death, becoming the first and possibly only user to possess two devil fruit powers at the same time.
