manta ray
A very large oceangoing ray that feeds on plankton and small fish. Flat and having large "wings" like its other brethren, it sports two projections on either side of its head (called cephalic lobes) that help guide food into its mouth.
Unlike stingrays, manta rays don't have their mouths on their underside.
