A platformer game by CAPCOM, known in the West as Ghosts 'n Goblins.
Had a sequel, Daimakaimura, known in the West as Ghouls 'n Ghosts.
Lots of things made this game memorable: the dark fantasy setting, some instantly recognizable tunes, a campy sense of humor (e.g. one single hit would make Arthur lose his full plate armor and run around in strawberry patterned underwear), the Engrish -- and last but not least, its fiendish difficulty.
