The MAC-10 is an American compact submachine gun/machine pistol first manufactured by Military Armament Corporation in 1964. Chambered in either 9×19mm or .45 ACP. It has a top-mounted charging handle that also acts as a safety when twisted.
The MAC-11 is the smaller variant, chambered in .380 ACP. Both weapons are recognizable by its Uzi-like ergonomics but lacks pistol grip and handguard panels, boxier appearance due to less receiver stamping indentations, short strap that acts like a vertical foregrip, and a retractable wire stock. May have a threaded barrel for suppressors.
