lucilius (granblue fantasy)
A Granblue Fantasy character. Voiced by Sakurai Takahiro in Japanese and Sean Chiplock in English.
Introduced as ??? in the first part of the event "What Makes the Sky Blue", Lucilius is later revealed in the second part to be an Astral and the creator of the first Primal Beasts, Supreme Primarch Lucifer and his adjutant Belial.
This Astral was the head researcher of a research lab. His unequivocal genius and transcendent will led to many breakthroughs that would shake up the world—notably the birth of the original primal beasts. But as his research into evolution progressed, he drew his own conclusions about the gods' designs and established the fallen angels to bring about his grand finale—a plan intended to destroy the world. Though rarely moved by emotion, he harbors a centuries-old hatred for the gods, seeing them as tyrants who imposed order on the boundless universe. For him, there is only one state of true freedom—nothingness.
On December 2, 2023, he was revealed as a boss in the story mode of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and later joined the playable roster as the first DLC character on January 16, 2024. Later, it was announced on January 11, 2024 that he would appear as an optional post-game boss in Granblue Fantasy Relink, debuting in the game on March 14, 2024.

Official Alternate Costumes
In Granblue Fantasy, Lucilius, Lucifer, and Lucio share identical facial features, making them distinguishable only by clothing and context. Lucilius, in his Raid Boss form, is characterized by a stitched neck scar, black metallic curves on his chest and waist, no shirt, a torn red cape, asymmetrical arms, and armored thigh boots. In his Astral Researcher form, he wears an oversized white robe with a hood, a turtleneck, and occasionally carries a staff. He typically has a cold expression and is frequently seen with Belial.
