Lieutenant Colonel Bluegrass is a law enforcer cyborg who pilots the Silverhawks main transport, the starfighter "Mirage".

He wears a cowboy hat and a red scarf. Bluegrass is armed with a sonic weapon in the shape of a variable electric guitar that can transform into a support robot eagle called Sideman.

Unlike the rest of his team, Bluegrass does not have energy eagle wings.
