kettle grill
A kettle grill is a charcoal grill consisting of half-spherical shaped grill with domed lid. The base typically features support legs and may also feature a cylindrical ash catcher at the bottom. The design was invented by George Stephen Sr. and was constructed from sheet metal half-spheres originally for building buoys. The American manufacturer Weber Inc. was the original maker of these grills, so the iconic design is closely associated with them.
