karuta (card game)
A set of Japanese playing cards. On Danbooru, it refers to two card-matching games:
- Uta-garuta is a set of 100 cards consisting of traditional poems.
- Iroha karuta is a simplified version with 96 cards, each pair associated with a Japanese syllable.
