kabe don
A romance trope wherein an aggressive romantic partner slams one hand into the wall in front of the target of his affections as they walk past. This keeps the target from walking away without backing up, and more importantly, puts the two of them within each other's personal space, face to face.
The name comes from combining the Japanese kabe (wall) and don (the banging sound effect made when something slams into a solid object). "Wall-bang" is not a good English translation per se, however, because it could imply that sexual acts are taking place, or that something is being thrown out in disgust (i.e. books being thrown across the room and against the wall).
