k.a.r.r.
K.A.R.R. is the short name of a fictional sentient robot character from the American adventure and science fiction TV series Knight Rider released in the 80s.
An acronym for Knight Automated Roving Robot. Like K.I.T.T, KARR is an artificially intelligent electronic computer module in the body of a highly advanced, very mobile, robotic automobile: a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am sports car.
Unlike KITT, whose primary directive is to protect human life, KARR was programmed for self-preservation, making him a ruthless and unpredictable threat. KARR was featured in two episodes of the original 1982 series.
KARR was voiced by Peter Cullen in Season 1 episode Trust Doesn't Rust, and in Season 3 episode K.I.T.T vs K.A.R.R, he was voiced by Paul Frees. In the Knight Rider 2008 series, he was once again voiced by Peter Cullen.
