jungle cat (kemono friends)
A Kemono Friends character. She is one of many "Friends" in Japari Park. She first appeared in the original 2015 mobile game, and later appeared in Kemono Friends 3 with an updated character design. Contrary to the name, the jungle cat is not a species that inhabits jungles; nonetheless, Friends of Japari Park seem to think that Jungle Cat is a wild feline tempered by the perils of the jungle. Consequently, she feels she has to maintain that illusion— lest other Friends decide she is uninteresting— but she simultaneously resents this and wishes she could be honest.
In September 2022, a virtual YouTuber based on Jungle Cat debuted under the franchise's KemoV Project label as a member of its second wave, debuting alongside Brown Long-Eared Bat and Siberian Chipmunk. Known for her gentle and mature voice, KemoV's Jungle Cat is a talented artist who often makes art for herself and other KemoV members, including emotes and channel assets, and is a skillful gamer who is an Apex Legends veteran. She sports a great knowledge of horse racing and cars.
