jingei (kancolle)
Kantai Collection character personifying the nameship of the two Jingei-class submarine tenders and the first purpose-built submarine tender in the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name literally means "swift whale." Her illustrator is Akasaka Yuzu.
She wears a blue serafuku with a white neckerchief, a blue sailor collar, and a blue pleated skirt under a white waist apron and a brown shawl. On her back is her smokestack and on her sides are a oil barrel and a crate containing potatoes. Additionally, she wears white thighhighs, headgear which incorporates a white bandana, and a hairclip resembling a whale. She has long black hair tied into a low ponytail (that is not easily on her regular CG but apparent) with hair flaps and red eyes as well as large breasts.
Like Taigei before her and perhaps because of her function, she comes off as caring and motherly, specially towards the submarines.
