italia mondial
Retro-styled solid body electric guitar manufactured by South Korean guitar and bass guitar maker Italia since the late 90's.
It is loosely similar to the Gibson's Gibson Les Paul in design, the biggest differences being:
- Rounder body.
- Pickguard that extends to the control knobs and corners of the guitar.
- Dstinctive number-7 tailpiece.
- 24-fret neck.
- Three tone switches (or knobs) on the pickguard's corner.
The most famous feature in Japanese media is its use by Suzumiya Haruhi in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, inspired by Linda Linda Linda, specifically the co-protagonist Tachibana Kei.
