i-47 (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese submarine I-47, nicknamed "Yona". Character design by Hoshiakari.
She is portrayed with long low-tied black hair with long sidelocks, and green eyes. Conspicuous on her damaged CG is a mole located on her right buttock. Her default outfit consists of a blue school swimsuit worn under a white crop top with a white sailor collar and name tag, grey neckerchief, see-through skirt, black thighhighs, and grey ankle boots.
Her rigging consists of her torpedo tubes to her back, headgear patterned off her real-life fins, and her 14 cm and 25 mm anti-aircraft guns on thigh straps.
The historical submarine's only remarkable achievement was the sinking of USS Mississinewa on November 11, 1944 using a Kaiten missile. She was later made a Kaiten mother ship at the end of 1944, decommissioned on November 30, 1945, and was sunk as a target off the Gotou Islands on April 1, 1946.
