Base
i-201 (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese submarine I-201. Character design by Hoshiakari.
She has virtually the same uniform as her sister I-203: a blue crop top and white sailor collar, gradient neckerchief, blue skirt, black thighhighs with her name printed on them, and rudder footwear. Her physical form is defined by her long grey hair and grey eyes.
Her rigging is also the same as her sister's, using two separate hull pieces with built-in torpedo tubes. Unlike I-203, however, she does not use 25 mm AA handguns, but is instead shown holding a torpedo.
Like her sister, the real-life I-201 did not see action due to being commissioned late in the war. She was surrendered to the US Navy, who scuttled her to prevent the Soviets from acquiring information on her unique design.
