HMAS Australia (I 84 / D 84 / C 01) was a County class (Kent sub class) heavy cruiser built in the United Kingdom for the Royal Australian Navy and completed in 1928.

She saw active service in the Pacific War through multiple major battles of the war. Australia was decommissioned in 1954 and sold for scrap.
