hesco concertainer
A type of temporary construction element (technically speaking, a "gabion") consisting of a wire-mesh cage with a heavy-duty fabric liner. Multiple Concertainers set up and filled with earth, crushed rock, or other such material can be used as improvised fortiifcations, a more common implementation than their originally intended purpose, erosion control. The name "HESCO" comes from the company originally set up to market the modern form of the device following its invention in the 1980s.
