harpsichord

The harpsichord is a keyboard instrument. Whereas the piano produces sound by striking a set of strings, the harpsichord produces sound by plucking the strings.

The frame of a harpsichord is often more angular than that of a grand piano. Some harpsichords have more than one keyboard (such as the instrument in post #4870510).
