hakuryuu (azur lane)
Azur Lane's personification of the aircraft carrier Hakuryuu, as part of a collaboration with World of Warships.
Character design by Izuru, voiced by Satou Satomi.
She is portrayed with long grey hair, grey eyes, large breasts, and mismatched horns with her left pointed up and right pointed to the side.
Her default outfit consists of a black pleated dress with a side slit, black jacket, black gloves, thigh straps, and knee pads. Her rigging is a split flight deck in an animalistic style containing her 100 mm twin DP mounts while she uses an oversized ootachi as her melee weapon.
In Azur Lane, she initially behaves in a stereotypical sukeban manner, often wielding her sword and trying to strike intimidating poses. However, she's actually an air-headed girl who only wants to look cool and is easily flustered, especially if she's without her katana.

History
She is based off the Project G15 "Taihō-Kai", an attempt by Japanese designers to create a successor to the infamously flawed carrier. She was to be larger, better armed, better protected, carry a larger air group, and would've corrected the numerous vulnerabilities found in her predecessor's design. Seven of the class were ordered and set to begin construction between 1944 and 1945 with expected completion dates between 1947 and 1948. Not one would be laid down before Japan's surrender.
