The original Gundam Frame created during the Calamity War to fend off against the Mobile Armors. Bael was an all-round balanced MS that possessed no specific strengths nor weaknesses - however, after the war, its mighty symbolism among Gjallarhorn (it was assumed that Bael rejected commands and only the "righteous heir of Gjallarhorn" could successfully control the unit) meant that once it was obtained by McGillis Fareed, who managed to pilot it, his political power grew exponentially.
