gibson es-335
Semi-hollow (50% solid-50% hollow) electric guitar, built and manufactured by American instrument maker Gibson since 1958 as part of its ES (Electric Spanish) series. Largely credited to be the world's first commercialized semi-hollow electric guitar, the ES-335 consists of a solid wood block running through the center of the guitar, with the sides being hollow. It went on to become one of the most popular guitars for genres such as Alternative Rock, Jazz, Blues and R&B among similar others with some of its most famous players being the late B.B. King and Nirvana/Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl.
Visual traits mainly include a round circular double-cutaway body, F-holes, stopbar bridge, four control knobs and the input jack being placed on top of the body.
