The Georgian (country) national flag is a white field, with a large red cross in its central portion touching all four sides of the flag, and there are crosses pattée on each quadrant.
The former flag which was adopted from 1918 to 1921 (and from 1991 to 2004) consists of a dark red field with black and white bands in the canton.
