geomungo
Geomungo is a traditional Korean plucked long zither instrument, usually played while seated on the floor with a pencil-size bamboo stick plectrum. It's similar to Korean gayageum, Chinese guzheng and Japanese koto. The main visual difference is that it has 16 convex rectangular frets and 6 strings (modern versions may have more), 3 of which are over frets. Strings are attached to the body by long cords that are arranged in an ornamental manner.
