gentoo
Gentoo Linux (pronounced JEN-too) is a Linux distribution built using the Portage package management system.
Gentoo lets the user build their system from the ground up by compiling programs from their source code. This approach allows tailoring software to work best with the computer's hardware.
The operating system lets the user choose which features to include or exclude while installing software using a keyword tool called USE flags.
It also uses a rolling release system, meaning it continuously updates software without the need for major upgrades. While it is considered by many to be challenging to install and set up than other Linux systems, it comes with extensive documentation and a helpful community for support.
