In Black Lagoon, Garcia Fernando Lovelace is the only son of Diego Lovelace, a member of one of the thirteen richest families of South America. He winds up in the hands of the Lagoon Company when the Colombian-based Manisalera Cartel kidnaps him in an attempt to get to Diego's land, which prompts Roberta, the family's devoted head maid, to dust off her guns and mount a one-woman rescue mission.
