fujiko f fujio (illustrated)
Fujiko F. Fujio was a pseudonym for Fujimoto Hiroshi (藤本 弘) (1933-1996), a legendary and influrential manga artist.
Originally he partnered with his long time friend and fellow manga artist Abiko Motoo (安孫子 素雄) with the duo working under the name Fujiko Fujio (藤子不二雄). The duo dissolved their partnership in 1982 due to creative differences and Fujimoto's declining health prompting the duo to settle on their copyright issue, they later published their own works with Fujimoto as Fujiko F. Fujio and Abiko as Fujiko Fujio A.
He is best known for Doraemon (initially published under Fujiko Fujio, but it was solely written by Fujimoto from the beginning).
In several commentaries and artist self-insert, Fujiko F. Fujio often depicted himself with a smoking pipe and wearing a beret. As such, this tag covers both the "avatar" he used in his works as well as posts that depict Fujimoto himself.
