A fictional galactic military organization from the new sequel trilogy of Star Wars films. It first appeared in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie from 2015.
The First Order is the successor to the old Galactic Empire from the original trilogy. Is a military junta or clandestine army made from several new members and the remnants of the original Empire who seek to once again dominate and control the galaxy.
