eiffel tower
A wrought iron tower built in Paris by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World's Fair. It is a globally recognized cultural icon of France and the tallest structure in the French capital, standing 320 m (1,050 ft) high above the green expanse of the Champ de Mars. The bronze-painted tower has two observation decks and restaurants in addition to the top floor, including a champagne bar and a reconstruction of Eiffel's office.
