dragon boat
A boat of ancient Chinese origin that is rowed by teams of people. It is long, slender, and low to the water, with a decorative dragon head at its front and a tail at its rear. The boats are raced by teams of rowers competitively, often during the Dragon Boat Festival, which takes place on the 5th day of May in the lunar calendar, corresponding with late May or June on the Georgian calendar.
