The son of the arcade-era Donkey Kong. He wears a white leotard that has the letter "J" on it.

He stars in Donkey Kong Jr., where he must save his imprisoned father from the clutches of Mario. In Donkey Kong (Game Boy) he assists his father in the kidnapping of Pauline and attempts to impede Mario's attempts to rescue her. Some of his last major appearances were being playable in Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo, Mario's Tennis for the Virtual Boy and Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64.

Outside of the occasional retro throwback or cameo, he's been largely replaced by Diddy Kong.
