dodge challenger (3rd generation)
The third generation Dodge Challenger. Debuted in 2007, this generation was notable for reviving the nameplate after over 20 years of dormancy, with a highly popular design directly inspired by the original version. Participated in several American motorsport series during it's production, including NASCAR and Trans Am.
The model was ultimately discontinued in 2023, as part of Dodge (and the Stellantis Group as a whole) moving towards a fully electric lineup. No direct successor to the Challenger was announced at the time of it's discontinuation, instead the Dodge Charger received a new, muscle car-styled electric coupe to replace the long-standing sedan.
