Depictions of various stereotypical "rebellious" and oftentimes outlaw youngsters, especially high school students of teenage years.
Delinquents have come in many types in different times and places, but the stereotype tends to attach itself to whatever scary new subculture they have come up with at that time: greasers in 1950s US, mods and rockers in 1960s Britain, punks everywhere since the 1970s.
