curtsey

A traditional Western method of bowing, usually performed by women, involving slight flexion of the knees, often in conjunction with a skirt hold.

Note that a curtsey is often accompanied by a skirt hold, not a skirt hold itself. Don't use this tag on skirt hold posts if there's no bowing involved, even if the character has crossed legs/ankles or wears a gown. That's not a curtsey.
