condenser unit
The portion of an air conditioner affixed outside the home or building. The condenser unit features a fan to blow outside air across a heat exchanger to cool down heated and vaporized refrigerant used by the AC. This returns the refrigerant back to a liquid state, which the condenser then will direct back to the internal portion of the AC where it will be used to cool the interior.
