Judge Claude Frollo is the main villain of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. A cruel judge motivated by pride and lust, he considers himself a righteous and holy man, even as he commits acts of horrendous evil against the Roma and others that he looks down upon. He develops a lustful obsession for Esmeralda which puts him in conflict with his ward and bellringer Quasimodo.
