churro
A fried dough pastry snack served with chocolate or drizzled with it.
(Probably) originated in Spain. The word churro is actually a Spanish word used to name the shape of the horns from a sheep indigenous to the reign of Castile and León .
Quite popular in many many Latin American Spanish speaking countries, specially Mexico, where is usually sold stuffed with strawberry jam in the streets during winter, along with a cup of hot chocolate (another Mexican originated beverage).
