chougei (kancolle)
Kantai Collection character personifying the second and last of the two Jingei-class purpose-built submarine tenders of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name literally means "long whale." Her illustrator is Akasaka Yuzu.
She wears an outfit with accompanying machinery similar to Jingei's: A blue serafuku with a white neckerchief, a blue sailor collar, and a blue pleated skirt under a white waist apron and a brown shawl. On her back is her smokestack and on her sides are a oil barrel and crates. Additionally, she wears thighhighs, headgear which incorporates a white bandana, and a hairclip resembling a whale. She differs from Jingei by having shorter sleeves and gray thighhighs. She has long brown hair tied as ringed twin braids and grey eyes as well as large breasts, although not as large as Jingei's. She also looks slightly younger.
Since she is the younger sister, she comes off as perkier than the more reserved Jingei.
