chemical structure
A graphical representation of the chemical compound's spatial arrangement of its atoms, molecular shape and often their chemical bonds. It comes in various models and can be either 2D or 3D. Unlike chemical formula which is limited to text.
For example, the chemical structure for water (H₂O) is a basic grid of one hydrogen molecule, one oxygen, and then another hydrogen. More complex substances thus require more complicated grids to outline every molecule present.
