Gold Saint of the Cancer constellation in the original Saint Seiya anime and manga series.

A treacherous, unscrupulous and cowardly Saint. He sides with the evil Pope during the battle of Sanctuary despite knowing he wished to kill and usurp Athena. He believes it's only logical that he sides with whoever provides him with the most benefits.

His real name is unknown; Deathmask is a nickname he received from his peers due to the way he adorns the Cancer Temple with the faces of his many victims, children included. In the English localisation, his name was changed to Cancer Mephisto.

In the original manga, he has short grey hair and red eyes. His anime design gives him violet hair and eyes.
